How we work
Contracting, quality control and logistics — the unglamorous half of the business, and the half that decides whether your plant runs on Monday.
Contracting
Three ways to buy
Most customers start on spot to test the fuel and the service, then move to term once the boiler log looks the way they hoped.
Spot
Single loads or a short series at a fixed price, typically loading within five to ten working days of confirmation.
Term
Six or twelve months of scheduled deliveries, fixed or indexed, with an agreed tolerance on monthly volume so seasonal demand does not break the contract.
Managed supply
We take responsibility for keeping a silo or tank above an agreed level, monitor consumption and schedule deliveries ourselves. You stop placing orders.
Quality
Tested before it leaves, not after it fails
Off-spec fuel is expensive twice: once when you buy it, and again when it fouls a grate or clogs a filter.
- Solid fuels: moisture, net calorific value, ash content and melting behaviour, particle size distribution, chlorine and sulphur
- Liquid fuels: density, cetane number, cold filter plugging point, water and sediment, acid value, oxidation stability
- Independent laboratories for referee analysis whenever a result is contested
- Retained samples from every consignment, kept for the contract period
Logistics
Every way we can get it to you
Road, container, vessel or grid — chosen for the fuel and the distance, not for whatever happens to be available.
Walking-floor trailers
Bulk chips, residues and low-density biomass. Self-discharging, so you do not need a tipping facility on site.
Tippers & bulk tankers
Pellets, olive stone and shells. Pneumatic discharge available where the silo requires it.
ADR road tankers
HVO, biodiesel and bioethanol in compartmented tankers with calibrated metering at discharge.
Cryogenic units
Bio-LNG at −162 °C to your station or plant, with ADR-certified equipment and drivers.
Container & short sea
20 ft and 40 ft export lots and coastal parcels through Atlantic, Mediterranean and North Sea ports.
Grid & registry transfer
Biomethane delivered through the gas network with Guarantees of Origin transferred in the relevant national registry.
Common questions
How quickly can you deliver a first load?
Who carries the risk in transit?

Tell us what you burn.
We’ll tell you what can replace it.
Send us your current fuel, your annual volume and your delivery point. You get a specification, an indicative price and a logistics plan — usually within two working days.
